Whether you're picking up the cello for the first time or refining advanced repertoire, I help dedicated students become confident, expressive musicians through individualized instruction and a strong technical foundation.

I believe lasting musical confidence comes from mastering the fundamentals: strong technique, musical literacy, listening skills, and effective practice habits. When students develop these skills, they gain the confidence to solve musical challenges independently and enjoy making music for years to come.

Lessons begin by assessing each student's current playing level, musical understanding, and personal goals. From there, we create a customized learning plan using carefully selected repertoire, targeted technical exercises, and an effective practice routine. As students grow, they develop the skills to evaluate their own playing, practice independently, and perform with confidence.

I offer private cello lessons in Saratoga Springs and Provo for beginner through advanced students, from young children through high school. Every lesson is tailored to each student's learning style, goals, and experience, with instruction available in both traditional and Suzuki methods.
